COLOMBIAN WOMEN FARMERS – CAUCA REGION – ARGCAFEE – COCA SUBSTITUTION PROGRAM

The 78 Women coffee producers of ARGCAFEE grow in a relatively remote part of the Cauca region, at 1300-1500 meters above sea level. They have their own cupping lab staffed by five full time professionals, all young members of multi-generational coffee families.

This particular offering, the quality of which stands on its own, is also part of a coca substitution program. This offers the growers an economically viable, and more socially responsible, alternative.

Cupping Notes: Cocoa and praline with mild fresh fruit flavors. Tart citric acidity and candy-like sweetness.
