WOMEN PRODUCER – FINCA LOS POSITOS
The Women Coffee Producers project was established to highlight projects in a number of countries that were addressing the wide spread wage inequity that women experience, especially in the coffee growing industry.
These Nicaraguan women coffee farmers receive an additional premium that goes to help them obtain legal land titles – women currently own only 15% of agricultural land in the country.
In the cup – toffee flavors with a subtly alluring sweetness, & an amazing mouthfeel not often found in Central American coffees.
