This offering, from Jhonnathan Camacho, scion of one Costa Rica’s pioneering coffee farming families, is a new varietal, Mundo Maya. It is the result of a cross between a Nicaraguan sachimor and an Ethiopian ET01. The result is a spectacularly bright coffee, sure to be embraced by coffee lovers as the word gets out about this new bean.

Microlots in Costa Rica are separated based on differentiated characteristics such as processing, variety, or some other aspect. Micromills, such as Genesis, typically process less than 1000 bags per year.
